Look what I made....a dishcloth. I finally finished a project. I've actually made 2 dishcloths and am almost finished with a third one. Guess what everyone is getting for Christmas this year?

Where has the summer gone? In just over a month, Wes will start kindergarten....it just doens't seem right.

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. Here are a few pictures from the fourth....I will have to add more later, blogger would only allow me to add so many.
This is Ben

Poor Sam, he still hates it when I take his picture.

Of course, Wes had to ham it up for me.

He had so much fun with the smokebombs. And there was a minor accident....he burnt his jaw with a punk. Nothing serious, I just hope there is no scar.

We couldn't ask for a better day. The temps were in the low 80's, hardly any humidity, unlike yesterday and today...yuck.

We finally got the beds switched, so now Wes has Brenna's old bed (which never got used). Today we are going shopping for new sheets for him. I am working on a few projects still. Started making Christmas cards last night. Will take pictures later today. At the moment, I've got three different projects going on and I would like to be finished with 2 of them by Wednesday.....

So, for the month of July, I have set a goal for myself (let's see if this one sticks!) I plan on taking a picutre a day and then making a scrapbook out of the pictures. Well, not all of the pictures...do you know how thick that book would be?

Here are just a few. This one is from Tuesday. Wes and I went to the park in the morning. It was so nice....and no one was there. I was really shocked.

The rest are from yesterday.

Wes had fun eating an ice cream sandwich. Or "daddy's medicine" as it is refered to around here....long story, funny joke.

One of Wes and Robert.

And getting into the fireworks....well the smoke bombs anyway.

I can't wait until tomorrow night when we can set off all of the fireworks. Wes will have so much fun. I'm hoping to get some good pictures of the fireworks display. Wish me luck.

I'm also working on a quilt for Wes. No pictures yet. The goal is to have it finished this evening. I could have been finished with it about two weeks ago, but my laziness got in the way. Now I'm all ready to create things...it feels so good!!

Happy 4th!
