I've always wanted a cell phone charm for my cell phone. So, yesterday I went and made one for myself. This isn't the one. This one is on my etsy shop.
And a couple of more shirts. I have been on shirt overload lately. Getting ready to make Christmas gifts. First, I need to finish a couple of projects in the work. I have a lap quilt I am making for Robert's mom. Her birthday is in November. So, I need to get busy with that. I'm not even a fourth of the way done on the cross-stitch. Hopefully I will have some time this evening to work on it. Am still working on my scarf. Am hoping that the weather will start to cool down. I really want to turn the air off for good this year! I am ready for the cooler weather.
Friday was Lees Summit High School's Homecoming. So, there was a parade and of course it blocked off the streets to daycare. Had to park at the in-laws and walk over to get Wes. He didn't want to leave. All the kids line up against the fence and the people in the parade throw candy to them. Got him out and started walking back to the car. Told Wes that if he waved as they went by, they would throw candy. And boy did they ever throw candy. Most of the girls thought he was cute, so they threw even more to him. When we got home we put the candy in a bag, over half a lunch sack full of candy. The best part though, he enjoyed himself and we both had a great time.
Off to do laundry.......and other mindless chores!!
